About Us

Established in January 1999 by Frans van der Walt (B.Sc (QS) (Honours), PrQS (2167), PMAQS, MRICS).

Frans van der Walt, Managing Director of QS2000 Plus, has more than three decades of experience in the construction industry. In this period he has stayed abreast of developments and innovations within the quantity surveying field. He has also mentored and supervised senior and junior/candidate quantity surveying staff.

Over time Mr van der Walt also became recognised as a strategic development advisor in some instances for prospective developers of mega projects.

In February 2022 we converted the practice from a CC to a (Pty) Ltd and at the same time achieved registration as a B-BBEE Level 2 (Construction sector) (52,48% Black Youth Owned).

Our prime objectives

We see ourselves as always playing a meaningful role in the success of projects from strategic planning to beyond completion, with all tasks and initiatives undertaken aimed at reducing the financial and other development risks to our client, the developer.

QS2000 Plus is dedicated to problem solving, and is driven by the demands and desires of our clients.

We see ourselves as affirming excellence and challenging mediocrity.
